Members of the Lyons Fire Company Truck Crew would like to wish all the community a very safe, but happy holiday! They are reminding you to be careful when lighting your tree, burning candles and connections to your outdoor decorations. If you are putting up a live tree, remember to keep it well-watered and don't leave your lights on when leaving your home or going to bed. We are here if you need us, but we would rather not be needed under these circumstances!

Merry Christmas and a very Prosperous New Year!

On Wednesday, September 18, 2018 the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lyons Fire Co. will once again hold Bingo on a weekly basis.

Come out and support your local firefighters.

Proceeds benefit the Ladies Auxiliary and the  Lyons Fire Co. Truck Crew!

Volunteers Needed!

Have you ever thought about volunteering with your local fire department - they can use all the help they receive. Volunteer firefighters and volunteer fire police are desperately needed! You say you don't think you could handle running toward a fire? No problem. There are so many behind-the-scene  things that we need help with! We will pay and set up any training you may need or want. If you have any interest in helping the fire department as well as the community, please come and talk to any of the officers of the Lyons Fire Department. You can find them every Tuesday night from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Or leave a message to set up another time convenient for you to talk to them.

This can be a very rewarding adventure for you!

Annual Fundraiser Letter

Watch your mail for the annual fundraiser letter and consider donating. The Lyons Fire Co. Truck Crew appreciates your support. This year they are not only collecting for the maintenance and upkeep of their equipment but also saving towards the building of a new Engine Room. They are currently cramming five pieces of equipment into a 3-bay building, along with their gear and misc. tools needed for the community's benefit. In order to serve you better, they are doing their best with the space they have.

Please support these men and women in any way you can! It may be your life they save!
